Introduction:
In this article we are going to see how to delete the domain registered with an Azure Storage account using the Windows Azure Management Portal.
Overview:
In our earlier article we have seen how to configure a domain for an existing azure storage account and how to verify the domain account online to get full access. Now in this article we are going to see how to delete the domain mapping with the storage account. Let us see the step by step on how to do the manually deletion of the Domain registered with the Azure Storage Account using Windows Azure Management Portal.

Login to the management portal using the below link

We can see a screen like below. Select the Sign into Management portal at the top right corner
After selecting that sign in to management portal you will be asked for the Username and Password to authenticate the process as shown in the below screen
Once we gave the correct credentials and click on submit button will navigate to the main screen of the portal as shown in the below screen
Now click on the Hosted Services, Storage Account and CDN option in the bottom menu and then select the Hosted Services as shown in the screen below.
Now click on the Storage account left menu we can see the list of storage accounts created for the subscription as shown in the screen below.
Now Double click the storage account in the list will show the custom domain which we created as shown in the screen below. Here its shown as Forbidden since we have not verified it correctly, if verified properly then the status would have been as registered.
Now select the Custom Domain name which we want to delete and we can see the Delete Domain button enable in the Ribbon Menu as shown in the screen below.
Clicking on the Delete Domain Button will ask for a confirmation to proceed further, Click on Yes to proceed further as shown in the screen below.
Once the process gets completed we can see the account gets deleted and we can see the empty domain name as shown in the screen below.
