Yes the official release day of Visual Studio 2012 is announced and its on August 15th 2012 to the public. This release is going to be the final product to the MSDN subscribers and if its required to public they can register for the MSDN license and can download the setup file from the MSDN website.       [more]

Jason Zander (Corporate Vice President) and Somasegar (Corporate Vice President) announced that the Visual Studio 2012 and .NET 4.5 is ready to be released. They have also announced that by September 12th 2012 the official launch event will be happening live @ http://www.visualstudiolaunch.com
