Friends I am very much excited to share this news, Nokia has awarded me as “Nokia Developer Champion” for my contribution to Windows Phone and the community. It’s a great moment to share my joy with my blog followers, my mentors and my friends to have one more title under my name. Recently I got an opportunity to interact with the Nokia Developer team and to understand how the developer community works around, but it’s a dream comes true to see a mail from Nokia Champion community as I am a “Nokia Developer Champion” from India. What is Nokia Developer Champion?
Nokia Developer Champion is a recognition program for mobile developers worldwide. Every quarter, Nokia invites outstanding members of the Nokia Developer community to accept a one-year membership in this program. Awardees are selected based on their technical expertise, their activities, contributions to the Nokia Developer Portal online community, offline services and communities worldwide.
I was surprised to see this award and even I am not sure who has nominated me to this program. It’s a great feeling to be recognized by Nokia and the developer community to my contribution to Windows Phone and Nokia Lumia devices. I would like to thank Mr Antoine Naaman, Champions Community Outreach to award me with Nokia Developer Champion. Also I would really love to thank my Mentors and followers who provide me with great support in achieving each and every milestone.
How Nokia Developer Champions selected?
Nokia Developer Champions are selected every quarter from the pool of Nokia developer who have registered and contributed to the Nokia Developer community. From the community the top and best premium developers are nominated and selected from 2 different categories which are Lumia Devices and Asha Devices.
I would like to convey my love and thanks to my wife for all her support and encouragement without which I will not be in a position to achieve every milestone I cross in my life, Thanks to her for all her scarifies!!!
