Chapters in the Book:
Chapter 1 – This chapter discusses on Visual Studio 2012 IDE features that are very much useful in our day to day development, and the different templates that are available to start developing our application effectively.
Chapter 2 –T his chapter covers about Memory Management which is my favorite of all the topics covered in this book. We can learn the internal Assembly structure, garbage collection process, memory managed in assembling and disassembling with ILMerge.
Chapter 3 – This chapter covers about Asynchronous Programming where the author took us to the interesting topic that is introduced with the framework 4.5. Also the chapter speaks about the best practices and guidelines that are used to develop thread synchronized application and techniques.
Chapter 4 – This chapter covers about the traditional loveable topic which is ASP.Net programming, where author covered the latest enhancements and features that are available in ASP.net 4.5 with few examples. He also covered the HTML5 editor and support of Strongly typed models for the data bound controls.
Chapter 5 – This chapter covers about Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) with the very popular Model-view-view-Model (MVVM) pattern with the latest enhancements and support in the newer version that is released in the framework 4.5
Chapter 6 – This chapter covers more advanced technology stuff of Touch enabled device application development with Windows 8 (basically Windows Store Application Development).
Chapter 7 – This final chapter covers more about the advanced topic in Windows Store application development like communication between devices, network interaction over the application developed etc which is recommended while developing complex architecture for Window 8 application.
